Thanks to a pointer from Suus, our resident news nabber, I discovered that the 11th Pokémon movie "Giratina and The Sky Warrior" is set to be released to DVD, and pretty soon! Given that they're already advertising it on the official Pokemon website, we could well be seeing the DVD in shops before this year is out. Great news for Pokémon movie lovers and Rebirthteers alike.
I've been catching up on the archives lately by watching season 6, and wow, they sure had a lot of pointless filler back then. There's been amusing dialogue exchange too, but I'd say in terms of me sitting there and groaning, season 6 ends up second place to season 3. I mean, 5 or more episodes spent just on Dewford Island? Ouichie.
I adored "A PokeBLOCK Party" though. And no, not just because Ted Lewis did a voice in it. It was absolutely laugh out loud hilarious!
As for work on our side of matters, "Getting Technical" is coming along nicely. I'm still working on the ep13 upgrade for "Ultimatum" which is also coming along nicely. Watching gameplay footage of "Sonic Unleashed" has made me wanna work on "Blank Pages". Why? Well, Sonic's werehog/unleashed form's voice sounds a bit like how I'd imagine Rhenton's to sound, so I guess that's kind of a warped incentive, e-hee.
Oh! Minor edits have been made to the Rebirpedia as a result of me watching season 6 as well. Mostly to the episode watched list and Hoenn map.
Wow...well here we are again, folks. Another year of cultivating the Rebirth saga and it really has been quite the journey.
Pokémon Rebirth is responsible for bringing me into contact with many awesome people, one of which heavily fuelled the life of the project in response, in turn continuing to fuel my love of the Pokémon fandom in general. It's pretty cool how these chain reactions work, huh?
I just want to give my thanks to all those who have supported the Rebirth project in some form - my affiliates who were able to put up my promo banner this year, affies who weren't (but I'm still thankful for the links regardless!), fans whom I know, others who I have yet to meet. To all of you who have been moved in some way by the works of Tim and myself...we have been more than glad to have been able to bring you our side to the Pokémon universe. And we hope you will continue to follow us as we unfold further tales here!
Speaking of tales, today marks the online debut of "Getting Technical", a look into James' childhood times at PokéTech. I've also added some data to the Kakureiro 'pedia article, and another article on Nightmares.
Also, don't forget to check out the gallery for the full promo! I spent a lot of time on it.
And it doesn't stop there! Silvester, Rebirth's proofreader and general Pokénthusiast has kindly taken the time out to write a special anniversary report from Nintendo World, complete with photos! Click here to go and read it.
I'd forgotten there was one piece of "Darkness Revealed" I hadn't shared with you guys. While I can't tell you when chapter 8 will be available (since this story is one of the ones I don't personally write), I have great pleasure in bringing chapter 7 and hope you enjoy it.
Seven days until our 7th anniversary! I decided I'm gonna release the first episode of the "Getting Technical" arc that day, so keep an eye out for it. And some further good news to come with relation to one of my affies, but I'm keeping that under my hat for the moment.
Just a quick note to point you towards the latest addition to our selection of Rebirth shorts. It's called "Alliance" and is the first ficlet to be set during the Diamond and Pearl series. Hoorah! Click on its title in the menu to go and read it.
Additionally, I've thought up a neat design for the 7th anniversary promo, but better get myself in action and draw it up! The time is fast approaching. November 16th, in case you weren't aware.
